December Challenge

OK, so I was reading on someone's blog, that she was going to do a December Challenge of working out at least 30 min every day in December. I try to work out every day (minus Sunday) for an hour, but really? The past three months I would say I averaged 3-4 times a week. I need to loose weight-but for Dec I am going to focus on not gaining any. I will weigh myself Dec 1st and then again Jan 1st and hopefully it will not show a gain. So in an effort do so, I am challenging myself to at least a 30 min workout everyday. I will just walk on Sunday's. Something about a hard workout doesn't feel right to me on Sunday when I am supposed to be "resting". Anyone want to join in on my challenge? Or make another challenge in an effort to avoid gaining weight over the holiday's? :) And I didn't forget to post about Thanksgiving-just need to upload a few photos first!

Decorate the tree? It's a toss up

Jax walks 100% of the time now and because of it, this is what the shelf in my computer room looks like. It began being nicely decorated on all 5 shelves. He took care of undoing the 3 he could reach. Wonder what our Christmas tree (which will be going in the same spot as this shelf) will look like?!?!?! Oh well. I love his cute waddle walk and he is loving his new way to get around as well. He practically runs now and even tries to jump. My mom watched Jax and Jade tonight for about an hour and later said "Little Jaxon is just so funny." I said "you mean a little wild and a little craz?" She laughed and said "No, but he is sure going to give you a run for your money!" We later asked if that was code for Jaxon being naughty. She said of course not! :) Let's just say he is stubborn, determined, strong willed, has a loud scream and gets into EVERYTHING. I told Scott that we made need to request a switch with the next baby (years from now....) They need Scott's personality (a little more calm than mine) and my looks (not that I think that is a good thing, but both kids look soooo much like their dad) I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens! It doesn't help that Jadyn told us last night that she loves to make Jax scream...... Love both my kids to pieces. They make life so dang fun! :)

Haircuts!

Jaxon has needed a haircut for awhile. The spikes on top of his had have gotten VERY long. We decided to take him to Cookie Cutters after hearing great things about them. I wanted Jadyn to get her's cut as well and she said absolutely not! Fine, whatever. We walked in to the place and she quickly changed her mind after she saw the cute cars you get to sit in and the DVD player at every station. They had a long wait though, so we made an appointment for today. Jade was so excited about it all day. She decided before we got there that she wanted it short. I was surprised, but again, whatever. It's one of those things I will let her decide. She chose a picture of hair that was at about the shoulder. Jade's ended up being a little shorter, but we all like it, she is happy with it, and it looks adorable on her. Jade was telling the girl cutting it how long she wanted it and all these things and the girl said "Gosh, I think you could tell me everything without your mom even being here" to which said "Yep, I can tell it myself. My mom could go home!" Awesome. Independent at 4!
Jax on the other hand.....I told the girl we spike it, just wanted a trim. All was going well, she was cutting it with the scissors on top and it looked good. Then for some reason (guess would be she started cutting it too short on top) she just decided to take the clippers to it. So Jax looks like he could join the army tomorrow. He's still cute though and his won't take long to grow back a little. :)

Disney: Day 3

Day 3 and we were all still excited for Disney. Well.....I will admit that it didn't start off real well, with the whole credit card drama but we were excited all the same. We started off the day in Fantasyland. We went to Peterpan first-seeing that the line only gets longer their as the day goes on. Must the rides were pretty open so we rode a bunch of rides in Fantasy land fairly quickly. We were then going to head over to Pixie Hollow-which is the new exhibit with Tinkerbelle. The problem was the line for Tinkerbelle was just like the line for the Princesses-90 min wait. Yeah we were not about to wait. Jade was not very happy about that at all. We walked to the end of the line and you could see Tinkerbelle talking to some kids. So we told Jadyn to say hi and wave. She did and she was happy. She saw Tinkerbelle and thought we didn't miss it after all. Perfect! We headed over to Toon Town and went in to Minnie's house, then we went and saw Mickey Mouse! We rode the toon town roller coaster which- of course Jade loved! Jade, Brand, and I went and rode a few big rides (Matterhorn, Space Mountain) and then met up with Kennedee, Rachelle and her mom at the Tikki Room. I think of all the times I have been to Disney in the past 11 years (6 times) I never went to the Tiki Room. Probably has something to do with the fact that I am only ever there for a day and would rather ride rides. Being there for 3 days makes you have time for other things. So we grabbed us some YUMMY Dole pineapple ice cream and went in to the Tiki room. Then-I remembered why I have never gone! :) It was a nice break though. Afterwards we went on the Jungle Cruise which was cute. After a few more rides in Disney we headed back over to California Adventure. I thought Jade would want to ride tower of terror again, but when I asked she said "No, not today. It makes me nervous. I think it might make my tummy hurt!" Two times was enough for her. (Though yesterday she said "Can we go back to Disneyland and ride Tower of Terror?" So she's not scared of it, which is good) While in California Adventure Rachelle and I went on a ride while the girls were with Brandee and Rachelle's mom. We waited in line and when we went to get on the ride we were facing where the girls were sitting and noticed both girls were crying their eyes out. We looked at each other like "What in the world happened in the last 10 min?" It was funny-well kind of. We got off quickly and took care of the issues. We rode a few more rides in California Adventure before they closed. Kennadee had fallen asleep and it was dinner time so they decided to call it a day and head out. Brandee and I-being the crazy Disney Fanatics that we are-decided we would get in as many rides as possible in out last two hours. We went on Buzz Light year, Thunder Mountain, Finding Nemo and Pirates. By the time 8:00 came we were exhausted! And Jade, well you know what happened-she was out 2 min after we got off our last ride! We hadn't had dinner yet. We were tired, hungry, and really looking forward to getting back to our room, eating, and relaxing. Ugh-those dang cockroaches had another idea. After Brand saw 3 right when she walked in and turned on the light, I called downstairs. No, I don't want to change rooms, just send someone up to spray. They did-right away. Problem was when they moved the fridge there were more. The sprayer said he hadn't seen them like this before. Great. The fumes were disgusting and the bugs even more. So we moved. Jade-still asleep in the stroller, stayed fast asleep. So getting the food and relaxing took a little longer than we hoped, but it came and we were happy. Good day. Definitely another good day
The girls in the tea cups. Rachelle and I sat this one out!
Happy to be at Minnie's table
Cute girls with their stuffed animals
Mom and J (if that isn't a fake smile, I'm not sure what is)
All of us with the mouse himself!
Jade and Brand after Space Mountain. The smile shows how she felt about the ride
Just a tad bit wet after Space Mountain
Yummy!
Jasmine and Aladin. And there was no touching the beads this year! Whew! :)
Pooh and Jade. Right after this picture Winnie took Jade's carebear from me and motioned for me to take his picture with the bear. It was pretty cute!
On the swings. We were getting tired!
I love this Christmas Tree. It was fun to go each day and see what Christmas Decorations they had added over the night. I hope the next time we go it will be the week after Disney so that we can see all the decorations up.

Want to live the life-steal a credit card

Today in the mail we got a copy of our credit card statements from the stolen credit card. It infuriated me. You all want to know what those dishonest people used my credit card for? Here are just a few:
Massages, Anniversary Inn, $80 at Olive Garden, $80 at Iggy's, $100 at Madelines steak house, Hale Centre Theatre, Build-a-bear, the movies, bought tickets to a concert, paid their Mervyn's card, Flower Patch, Kritters in the Mailbox, Harmons (10 times), Walmart (7 times) and the craft store.

Total times they used my card with no guilt: 85!!!! ARe you kidding me? 85 times in 5 weeks.

What a life huh? I hope they find these people. I have to get over it though. It is making me too upset.

Let's sum it up

At the beginning of our trip I asked Brand "How many days could you spend at Disney. How many days is the perfect amount of Disney days?" By the end of the trip, I answered my own question: 3. Three days was perfect. We were able to ride a lot of rides, see some shows and enjoy it all. And I didn't want to go back when I woke up on Friday. So three days is the perfect amount of Disney days for me in one trip! Jade is ready to go back but knows we have to wait until Jax is at least three. Tonight she said she is going to start saving her money. Jade LOVED our trip. She has talked about it non-stop. She has a love for rides-just like I do. She was so good the entire trip. I was surprised that we passed so many stores, food carts, ect and the only things she asked for was the sucker and cotton candy on the last day. She ran with us to the rides when we were trying to get on as many as we could at the end of the day (One day we were running to the bathroom while Brand waited in line for us and we ran pretty far so I said "Ok, we can walk for a minute" and Jade said "No, mom. We can do it! We have to hurry" and she kept on running! It was so cute!) I loved being able to spend one on one time with her. I learned that Scott is not used to being by himself. He was very ready for us to come home. He is gone a lot, and goes on more trips than I do, so I am used to it-but this was a first for him. It was nice to know he loves and missed us! :) He was so good with Jax while we were gone and enjoyed getting to spend one on one time with him! Thanks to my mom also for taking time off to watch Jax. It was good to see Kennadee and Rachelle. We have missed them and had fun going on this trip together.

I missed Jax so much and I came home to a big boy! I swear in the 4 days I was gone he 100% grasped walking and never crawls anymore. I also think he started saying like 10 more words while I was gone. I felt like he grew 2 months in 4 days. He was so excited to see me, which of course made me very happy!

Disney: Day 2

Another great day at Disney! We started off the day in California Adventure. Right away I could tell it was going to be less crowded than the day before! We started out at the Playhouse Disney production they have. The girls loved it. Jadyn was up dancing and singing. It was pretty cute. We went from there over to Monster's Inc and then to Soarin over California. Jade loved being able to feel like she was flying. She laughed through the entire ride! Afterwards it was time to go to the long awaited Princess Lunch! I have always heard such great things about Disney's character meals and how nice it is to have the characters come and spend time at your table while you eat. Well-after spending a very LONG 90 minutes in line last year while we waited in line to see the Princesses, I decided we'd splurge on the lunch and avoid any long line. We paid $18 for kids and $28 for adults. Oh. My. Gosh! It was really amazing. We brought the girls princess dresses and they looked so cute. Jadyn and Kennedy were referred to as "princess" by everyone. We ate out on the Pier and I think because Rachelle chose to eat outside rather than inside, there were only 3 other families eating outside (Good call Rachelle). It was the perfect weather too. We really didn't know what we were eating, but we sat down to cute little bread that looked like seashells and seaweed as well as some delicious jello cubes, cheese and veggies, and salad. All of it was really good and very "princess" like. We got to choose anything off the menu. Jade chose mac and cheese shells with goldfish crackers on top. She must have loved it because she at every last bite, which she usually never does. The brought out trays of dessert. All bite size things. They had cute seahorses and shells made out of white chocolate. It was all really good and we were all VERY full when we left and I think we took 2 bags of food to go! The best part was that Cinderella, Ariel, Snow White, Belle, and Sleeping Beauty all come to our table and talked with the girls, signed their books, and took pics. Jadyn LOVED seeing them and it was so nice to have them just come up while we were eating. It was nice to take a break in the middle of the day and sit down to eat. Seriously, the lunch was worth EVERY penny. After the lunch Rachelle and I rode on California SCreamin (2 times since there was no line) while the girls rode the carousel. We then went on the new Toy Story ride, which was way fun! Then, we tried to sneak Jade on the Water ride. She was really sad when they wouldn't let her ride (ok, let's admit it. Trying to get her on a ride with a requirement of 42 in was a stretch considering she is only 40 in) She was disappointed, but they gave her a card that says when she comes back next time at 42 in they will let her on at the front of the line with 6 people. And I promise, she will remember. She talks about that dang card often "Mom, remember that ride I didn't measure on? The water one? Well when Jax is 3 we can go back and I can ride it. Remember that card they gave me?" Funny girl. We managed to ride Tower of Terror again, talk with crush, watch the Muppet's, ride all the rides in Bugs Life land, watch the parade, and go shopping all before the park closed at 6:00! Whew! We had two hours left at Disney so we got Jade on Matterhorn, Space Mountain, and a few other rides before we headed out. Brand and I were so hungry so we decided we would go get some avocado egg rolls from Cheesecake factory. We were so tired from walking all day, but the food definitely was worth it! Jade again stayed asleep from the time we started walking back until we got her in bed!
Playhouse Disney

In front of Tower of Terror!
Bugs Life with Brand

Toy Story! These glasses are hot-right?

All of us at our princess lunch

Belle and Jade. Not sure Belle was so happy to be there.

The girls with Cinderella

Sleeping Beauty

Jade and her matching Princess-Snow White. Can't forget Care Bear. Amazingly enough she carried Care Bear with us EVERYWHERE!!! She went on all the rides and many people commented on Care Bears dress. I thought Jade would bring her and then leave her in the stroller most of the time, but it didn't happen. Care Bear had a great time in Disney too!

Ariel (after the Wedding, obviously) and the girls!

Mom and Jade
Comatose once again! She was OUT

Some people suck- and why I'm going private

Not a very nice title, but it goes with my not so nice post.
While I was in Disneyland I got a call bright and early one morning from Scott. He was freaking out. He had just got off a phone call from a credit card collector saying we were more than 70 days past due on a credit card balance of $5,000! I was so confused. We don't have a credit card with the people that called us. Scott told me they had said it was a card we signed up for 8 years ago while at the San Diego zoo. I told him that was impossible. I remember that we did have a card from there, but haven't had a balance on it for at least 7 years. So he gives me the number of the lady who called. We talk, and here is the low down. The card we had was still open: with an address we had 8 years ago. Good ole credit card company sent a new card. Somehow someone got hold of that card and very graciously has used it enough to compile $5000 worth of damage. All little amounts-nothing more than $100 and at places like Target, gas, grocery stores, CRAFT STORES, etc. I was freaking out. I tell them this is all impossible and obviously fraud as we have not lived at that address for years and haven't had a balance on the card since we have moved from that address. The credit card company acts as though this is an every day occurrence (while scott and I are having panic attacks) and pass us through to the fraud department. We give them some information and they say they will contact us within 14 days to send out some information. I then ask how it could have been used in the first place. How could it have been activated? She said it would have to have been activated from the home phone number. Funny......that number hasn't been a home number there for 8 years. The next statement she said BLEW ME AWAY "Well, if the card isn't activated within 60 days from the home phone number, the card is AUTOMATICALLY activated." WHAT?!?! WHAT?!?! Are you kidding me? Seriously. How ridiculous is that? So is comes down to either someone took mail from the mailbox at the old house, someone at the old house is responsible, or they threw it away and some one took it from their garbage can. So I learned a few lessons:
1- Close all credit cards I have open except one or two
2- Check your credit at least once or twice a year
3- Shred/cut up all mail they you throw away
I think the money issue will be resolved quickly as we have numerous ways to show it wasn't our problem. The crappy part is we were going to apply for a HELOC next week. Seeing that I pulled my credit and it has fallen 100 points in the past 6 weeks, that is going to have to wait. Who knows how long it is going to take to get our credit fixed. I have a feeling this is going to haunt me for a long, long time. I wish I could catch whoever did it. We have turned everything over to the police as well, so we'll just wait and see what happens
So......this is why I am going private. I really have NO idea how this happened and who knows what about me right now. I may eventually open it up again, but for awhile I think I need to set the blog on private. Don't forget to send me your email! Also, I know some of you have wondered why I haven't added you to my friends and family list on the side....call it laziness. I only use google reader right now to read blogs, so I have about twice as many blogs I read than what shows on my side bar. One day I may find the time to add them all to the side, but until then, just know I read many more than it shows. I better start leaving more comments to prove it-eh? :)

Going Private

I mentioned it before, but now feel I have to go private again-at least for awhile. If you have sent me your email before I don't need it again, if you have started reading my blog the past 6 months and want to continue reading, please just leave me a comment with your email address. I will be changing it over this weekend

Disney-Day one!

We had so much fun last week in Disney. So much Fun! Getting started was a little rough. I didn't realize how much work I needed to get done before I left. I planned on working Monday my normal hours and then packing and cleaning that night. Sooo....I was wrong. I had a lot more work to do than I though. I ended up working all night and packing at 4:00 in the morning. Needless to say, considering we left at 6:30 in the morning, I didn't end up going to bed at all the night before we left. The crazy part was JAde had fallen asleep at 5:30 Monday night. I was thinking crazy and thought she might just sleep all night. Wrong. She was up at 7:30 and couldn't fall asleep until 11:00. Then she was up about every hour and just couldn't sleep. Her legs hurt (she gets legs cramps every now and then) At 3:30 I tried to give her medicine. It got in her hair-she wanted a bath. Then it was 4:00 and she couldn't get back to sleep. So I was up all night and Jade only got about 4 hours of sleep. Awesome. We were so excited to leave although I was sad leaving Jax. I think I kissed him and said bye about a million times before I finally left. The plane ride was great. It was a very open flight so we got on with no problem. Love that.
We rented our car and went straight to Disney. Jade, Brand and I were all so excited! Jade has been so looking forward to this trip-especially because she "measures" big enough to ride all the big rides. She has been talking about that for so long! We have talked about a lot of the rides and what they do and what does she say she wants to ride first? Tower of Terror! Well, ok Kiddo! We walked past Monsters Inc, so we actually rode that first and then went to Tower of Terror. The girl really had no idea what she was getting herself in to! The amazing thing was she loved it! I knew then that she would like all the big rides! By the time we got off Rachelle, Kennadee and her mom were waiting for us. We were so excited to see them! I can't believe it's been 5 months since we have seen them. We have missed them a lot. We had fun riding all types of rides and JAdyn loved them all. Loved them! By about 4:00 though, Jade was getting tired. She was getting ornery and cranky and you could just see the tiredness in her. She REALLY wanted this gigantic sucker. She hadn't asked for anything all day so I was fine to buy it for her, but told her she needed to wait until we got back to the hotel to eat it. She wasn't very happy, but getting the sucker helped a little. Considering she was going on 4 hours of sleep, she did amazingly well for the day (much better than I expected) That said, by 7:00 (so 8:00 our time) she was out. I am talking like completely zonked out. She fell asleep while we were walking over to the Buzz Light year ride. I thought if she woke up she would be way upset if we didn't go, so I decided we would just take her out of her stroller and take her on the ride. No lie, she stayed asleep without even moving a muscle, through out the entire (very loud) ride. The girl was in a comatose state, I swear. We left the park around 8:00 and she didn't wake up when we put her in the car, got her out of the car, walked her up to the hotel, changed her clothes, or tucked her in. She slept through it all! It was pretty amazing. I was also VERY tired, but the park was opened until midnight for Veteran's day so Rachelle and I decided to go back to the park without the kids (Thanks to Rachelle's mom and Brand for staying with the kids) We were able ride a bunch of big rides with no lines. It was great and I loved being able to have good, long talks with Rachelle again. We talk on the phone a lot, but always seem to be interrupted by kids! :) That said, I was EXHAUSTED by the time we walked back to the hotel. I didn't even have the energy to change in to my pajamas. I just laid on the bed and fell asleep. Around 3:30 a.m. I woke up and finally changed. Jade woke up enough to say "Mom.....what about my sucker?" She was half asleep so I just told her she could have it in the morning and she was out again. It felt soooooo nice to sleep. I mean, I had only been up for 42 hours straight! It's amazing I could still function-it must have just been my love for Disney that kept me going! It was a great first day. I talked to Scott and he was having a good time with Jax!

Catch up: Jade's Birthday

Jade had such a great birthday. We woke up to snow. I told Jade to look out the window and when she did she said "Is it Christmas?!?!" No.....but it is your birthday!
When she realized it was her birthday she was so excited to run downstairs to open presents. (remote control car, a doll cradle, princess dress-ups and bag, and a movie)

Jax wanted in on the fun as well

We realized a few weeks ago that Jadyn has never been bowling and since then she has wanted to go. So we told her we would go for her birthday. She loved it, but was ready to be done by the 10th frame. We took Seth and Zach with us and of course, she was very happy about that! After they bowled they played some games in the arcade and then we went and ate and they played at Mcdonald's!

After bowling we had a cake and ice cream with family and friends at our house. All of the kids had fun playing downstairs and I loved being able to send them down there to make a mess and not have to have all the toys on the main floor. Yipee! Jade has always seemed to get along best with boys-and mostly older boys. Not sure if I should be happy or worried about that! :) J/K She ended up having 6 little boys at the party and no little girls! She was totally fine with that! Her look in the pic below looks a little suspicious while we were singing Happy Birthday, but she was soaking it all in! Thanks to everyone who came to her little party! She loves having people over!

Daddy and Jade on her birthdayand with the rose Scott brought her on her birthday

The Saturday after her birthday we went with our next door neighbors to Chuck-e-cheese. Their little boy turned 5 a few days after Jade so we decided to take them there to celebrate together. They had so much fun-as did Jax!

(don't mind the pink socks. She was so sure they matched-and yes, she did have a jacket on originally.)

Alright, so there ya have it. We managed to celebrate birthday #4 pretty well! We love ya Jade.

Happy Birthday!

How to make cookies

Tonight Jade and I were making pumpkin cookies. Scott said to Jade "Do you know how to make cookies?" Jade started laughing and said "Yes I know how to make them. First-you eat some chocolate chips" and then she laughed hysterically. Sounds like she knows the best way to make them! :)

Welcome in little car!

Scott's car has never been inside the garage. We went from both parking outside at my mom's, to a one car garage at the old house, to a two car garage that has had to act as a storage unit while the basement was being finished. We have been working on cleaning out the garage so that we can get both cars in (we have both been parking outside since we moved) Scott was determined to get it finished today. Some determination may come from the fact that for the first time in 9 years he can wake up to a snow storm and not have to worry about scraping his car in the snow at 6:00 in the morning. He is going to love it. I love that I can use the garage again as well! So the garage is cleaned out. The basement? Well, the 2 storage rooms and extra bedroom are next on our list. We are hoping to sort those next Saturday. I still need to post pics of our finished basement. We only have a few things left to do before we can feel that it is completely done. Things tend to get done slower than we anticipate. I think the 2 kids have something to do with that! :)

Gonna Miss Ya!!!! and He's growing up!

Dear Tornado....er....um....Jaxon,
I am off for 4 days. I've never spent a night without ya and I am going to miss ya tons. I will miss your smile, your cute little walk and all the cute words you are learning to say. I am off to Disney with sister (don't worry, I won't leave ya home next time-promise). So, know that I love you and will be so excited to see you on Friday. Until then, I will leave your destructiveness, mess making, and mischief seeking personality all up to Dad and grandma! I love ya buddy!
Love, Mom!
Gosh mom, I just wanted some chocolate milk!

P.S. Jax is all of a sudden becoming so much more toddler and less baby. He is now walking about 75% of the time and can walk anywhere he wants. He is repeating all types of things we say and we hear "Ball", "Daddy" and "Car" all day long. Oh....and I wouldn't want to forget his favorite word....."Uh oh!" He will purposely drop and throw things just so he can say "Uh Oh" and smile his mischievous smile. He is so dang cute and his personality is definitely coming out more and more every day.

P.P.S. I need to post pics of Jade's birthday. I am behind. I will post bday pics and Disney pics this weekend!

Liberty Park

I just came across these pics and forgot that I never posted them. My friend told me about these cool water canals that the kids can play in down at Liberty Park and since I had never taken the kids there I thought I would try it out. I didn't realize what fun I was missing out on! The kids had such a great time playing in the water and they also have awesome playgrounds and carnival rides. Jade loved riding the Ferris wheel! We didn't end up going for the first time until the end of August and we went three times before the end of September! I know we will be going more next summer for sure!

Happy 4th Birthday baby girl!

Jadyn,
Happy Birthday! I can't believe you are 4 years old. The last four years have gone so quickly and at the same time I can remember what life was like with out you. I want you to know that I love you so much.
-I love that you are so funny and love that YOU think you are funny. I love that you have learned to tease and can make everyone laugh
- I love that you love to snuggle with me. You love to give hugs, have a hold and give kisses. I know that whenever I need a love you will give it willingly.
- I love that you are such a big helper and my little buddy. I love going places with you and just "hanging out"
- I love that you love your little buddy and can make him laugh and smile like no other
You remind me so much of myself. You love to have fun. You LOVE to talk. You are stubborn, strong willed, know what you want and how to debate your way to get it. I would truly be lost without you in my life. Please know that I love you with all my heart and always will. You truly make me, daddy, and Jaxon so happy!
I hope you had a great birthday
Love, Mom

20 Things I know about Jade
1- She RARELY sleeps in her own room.
2- She is such a night owl. She loves to stay up (just like her mom)
3- Telling her she will have to go to bed with no lights (as in shut her door) is the worst threat ever. She HATES when I even mention it! :)
4- She is not always so happy to share her toys. Well....that's not true she will share all her toys-unless they are toys she wants to play with!
5- Her mom bought Jaxon his own stuffed dog due to the reason above, and she somehow has managed to take it away from him most of the time! :)
6- She loves taking Dance and Gymnastics. Both make her very happy
7- She loves to sing and dance and LOVES the music turned up as loud as it can be in the car or at home. The louder, the better. She loves all music: Wiggles, The "Hey Naaa" song, Barbie Girl, Boot Scootin Boogie, any movie theme song.
8- She gets along best with boys (and mostly those that are older than she is). To name a few.... Seth, Zach, Sam, Easton, Brayden, Weston, and Aiden (neighbor)
9- She does not like Jaxon to play in her room. He knows this. He sneaks in and plays, if he sees Jade coming down the hall he starts yelling before she even goes in to drag him out. It's hillarious.
10- Her favorite color is blue
11- Her favorite food is probably a Dunford chocolate donut. I swear she'd eat them every day if I let her.
12- She loves Mcdonalds. It's always the same: Chicken nuggets, fries, and a momma's drink....and dip.
13- She hates her hair pulled up
14- She hates showers. Always a bath.
15- She loves getting to visit her dad at school.
16- She asks what day it is every day (Collene's day or a day off)
17- She is such a girly girl playing dress up, dolls, kitchen etc and yet loves to get dirty, watch Star Wars (or Ghost busters, Scooby doo, etc) and find (and hold) bugs. She even enjoyed watching her dad gut a fish last weekend. GROSS! I even walked away for that one!
18- She is already a great backseat driver. I have NO idea where that comes from! :)
19- She can be super sassy.
20- But most often is super sweet and amazingly funny.

I love this little girl to pieces. I can't believe she is 4!

The celebrating begins

My almost 4 year old LOVES birthdays. She loves to sing to people, loves to eat cake, and loves to have parties. That said, celebrating her own birthday is almost just too much excitement for her!My mom had her birthday dinner tonight. Jade chose lasagna, garlic bread, and green beans.....and of course chocolate cake! This video pretty much shows the excitement!
(Thanks to my mom for lending me her camera. We are going to wait until black Friday to get another one. I guess Merry Christmas to me)

Blowing out the candle

OOWWWW! Oops, a little wax on her finger. All betterJax enjoying the celebrating as well!
