Lagoon

I can not believe that the season is already over! I remember when we bought the season passes and went the first time in April I was thinking how crazy it was that I was starting the season barley pregnant and by the end of the season I would be almost done! (The pictures are definitely proof of that!)
It was another great year of Lagoon though. My kids love it there. Jade loves when we are able to have other kids there too. She, of course, still loves all the big kid rides. She even braved the biggest ride at Lagoon this year and went on the Sky Coaster. It costs an extra $15 and you go in a harness type suit and they pull you up on cord INCREDIBLY high in the air and then 3-2-1 FLY and it let's you go and you fly through the air dropping almost to the ground. It's kind of like bungee jumping! She was sooo excited to do it and although she got a little nervous at the top, she LOVED it and LOVES to tell people she did it!
Jax came a long way this year too and loved the Bat, odyssea, The dragon (this was his favorite at night because the eyes lit up), the new ride Bombora and Rattlesnake Rapids!
It was fun to have my mom join us for our last trip this year. She said it has been years since she had been to lagoon. She joined the big kids on Wicked and said it scared her to death and she kept her eyes shut the whole time. If only we could have had video of that! :)
It seems that this year we went more times later in the afternoon and stayed till closing rather than going early and leaving early. I don’t think we ever went from open to close though and we only tried Lagoon a Beach once this year…and only stayed for about an hour!
I have loved having passes to Lagoon the past three years. The kids always love going and Jax is always good while we are there. I think the plan is to not get passes next year since Hadley will only be 5 months-1 year and would have to spend the majority of her time in the stroller. We will just have to see how it goes!

So....because I haven't done any posts with pics for the entire season, I have included a bunch here. These span from April-Oct: which is pretty obvious when you see the pictures of me! :)

This is the first year the kids decided to play in the fountain. Good thing I bring extra clothes

Halloween pictures

Years ago I got the idea to get professional Halloween pics of my kids every year and print one up in an 8*10 to display with all the other Halloween pictures. I love getting them out every year and remembering what they were and seeing how much they have changed. It is one of those things that can be a pain….especially with Jax who is NOT a fan of getting his pictures taken, but has been well worth it.
I took the kids a few weeks ago to J.C. Penny. I go there because the pics turn out pretty good and it’s cheap! This year I walked out with 4 sheets and only paid $14! Jax was not in the mood (as usual) and Jade soaked up every minute of it! J
Afterwards we headed over to Chik-fil-a for dinner and Jade lucked out because it was Princess night. There were several princesses there for girls to talk to and get pictures with and the kids both got their face painted! Fun ending to a not so fun photo session!

Here are pictures of the pictures we got! They are blurry...sorry!

How can she look so old and beautiful?!?!?

Witches at Gardner

We tried to do Gardner Village last weekend with the kids. Jax has been wanting to ride trax for a little while so we decided we would take trax to Gardner Village. I realized earlier in the day that Witches Night Out that night, but was hoping if we went 2 hours before it started we would be ok. I. was. WRONG!!! It was insane. We got off trax, walked around for 5 min (long enough for me to get Jelly Bellies) and got back on trax and headed downtown for dinner instead!
We tried again this past weekend while Scott was deer hunting and it was much less crowded. We only stayed about 30 min, but it was long enough to see what we wanted to see!

9-11

I took the kids down to the healing field on 9-11. Of course, just like everyone else, I still remember so much from that day. I can’t believe it has been 10 years! We will definitely never forget all of the sacrifices that day or the thousands that have happened since.

Zoo

We were able to go to the Zoo one night in August with some friends from the Neighborhood. It was member night so we were able to go at night when it was not crowded or too hot-which was awesome! Jax was happy that the dinosaurs were still there and loved getting to see them! Thanks to the Nuttals and Coons for going with us!

All 3 of us are preg. I am due first and 4 weeks later Tammy and 3 weeks after that Sarah!

Jax was getting sprayed by water!
