Brittan's play
A Few weeks ago Jadyn and I went and saw my niece, Brittan, in her school play "Joseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat" She did a great job and we had fun watching her! I love that Jade likes to go to plays with me!

Spring Cleaning!
We moved into this house 3 years ago this coming May. My house has not been "deep" cleaned since then. I have had the best intentions the past 2 years to get my deep cleaning done, but it hasn't happened for one reason or another. I decided this year it HAD to get done and then only way to do that was to take the entire week off and get it all done at once. I started on Friday the 25th and worked every day until Sunday the 3rd. I added up all the hours I spent cleaning those 9 days and it came to a grand total of 98 hours! It was a long 9 days for me and the kids because I did nothing but clean every day. We didn't go anywhere or do anything for those 9 days. It was awful while I was doing it, but so nice when I was done. I am so happy that every drawer, closet, wall, baseboard has been cleaned. It is such a nice feeling! I still have the toy room and storage rooms downstairs but I knew I wanted to wait and do those rooms until later in the summer.
And this picture show my lack of parenting the week I cleaned. He was on his own for entertainment with little supervision. I cam downstairs around 5:00 one day and found him like this: asleep with toys and food wrappers all over! It made me laugh. We all survived though!
We did a re-haul of Jade's room. Took out the bunkbeds, moved in a different bed, added some bookshelves. Jadyn and I both love it so much more! She has been sleeping in her room, willingly, so much more. It has been great!
