I haven't blogged in SO long and since I mostly blog for records of my kids I think I'll do an update on them first.
Hadley:
- This girls is SASSY. I think it comes from being the youngest and picking up on the way that others talk but watch out. She thinks she is the boss of everyone and tries to tell everyone what to do. She seems to have a really hard time playing with friends and can be um....mean! :) We are working on it and I'm hoping she grows out of it! LOL
- She still loves to be held and cuddled, which is awesome. She also wants to be held anywhere we go because "her legs hurt" or she's "too tired" which is not awesome. LOL
- She refuses to talk to people she doesn't know or doesn't like. As in won't even look at them and pretends she can't even hear them talking to her.
Favorite Princess: Ariel, Minnie Mouse
Movies: Loves to quote movies
Apologize 3 days later- She does not like to say sorry. When she is in the moment of getting in trouble she gets very embarrassed and mad that she's getting in trouble and will not apologize. She is stubborn as stubborn can be. But....a few days later, when she is in a happy mood she will apologize for whatever it is she did wrong. LOL
Hadley Sayings:
- "Jaxon peed in a cup": Hadley started saying this last summer. She told this over 50 times last summer. When she first told me I asked Jax about it and Jaxon acted like he had no idea what she was talking about it and would get mad she would say it. We always laughed when she said it and thought she just liked that it made us laugh. She repeated it it often over about 9 months and then one day I looked at Jax and said "Jax....did you really pee in a cup?" He looked at me with his guilty face and FINALLY admitted to peeing outside in a cup last summer! Crazy kid
- "I'll be nice". Anytime hadley wants to go somewhere with me and I have said no she follows it up with "I'll be nice" as if that will change me mind. Let's admit, sometimes it has
- "You love it?" If she wants to know if you like something.
- Elsa hair. She loves Elsa hair and will sit and pretend she is doing my hair and will say it's Elsa Hair
- "You Came back" If I go anywhere. As if she is shocked I return!
- "Can I come wif yuh?" You can see a trend here. She likes to go places with me
- "You not going anawhere?" If I walk out to the car to get something or if I walk away from where she is.
- "Yuh" Not you, just yuh.
- I went to get my hair done in Nov. just after Hadley turned 3. She was sitting in another person's hair chair and I went to go sit under the dryer. After about 10 min Kelly came over and said "Umm, I think Hadley just peed" I was shocked because she never has accidents. Ever. But sure enough, I went to check her and there was soooo much pee! She had to have held it forever. When I asked if she peed she said "No, it must be just wet" LOL. I think she probably had to go and was just too shy or scare to ask where I was
- "Are you Kidding me?"
- "Seriously" said with as much SASS as possible
- "Your not coming to my birthday" and "Your not going to be my friend": If she gets mad at you she busts these sayings out. She learned them at daycare!
- "Can I do tricks with Unca Ryan?" She doesn't like many people but loves doing tricks (walking on her hands) with Unca Ryan
- "You're the best Mommy Ever!" She woke up once morning and rolled over and put her arm around me and in her quiet voice said "You're the best Mommy Ever" It was so sweet!
- My mom watched Hadley and Jax one day and Jaxon told me that Hadley had him him while I was gone. I said "Hadley, did you hit Jax?" To which she replied "No, not with my hands" . She had only hit him with the block in her hand!
- "Same as YOU!!!" She loves to find things that are the same: same pattern, same color, whatever. She usually recognizes it with clothes. She loves having the same!
- "It looks crazy!" If her hair is messed up, or she doesn't like a clothing article
- I took Hadley to Classic Skating for the first time last fall. She loved it and had a great time. Shortly after that she started having melt downs any we would get home from running errands and cry that we didn't get to do errands and I would explain that we did- we went to the store, bank, whatever and she would cry and cry. About 4 months later we drove by classic and she yelled "Mom!!! It's the errand place can we go to errands" And only then did I realize what the problem had been. The morning before I had taken her to classic I had told her we were going to go run "errands" and that day, at the end of the errands we went to Classic. So in her mind she thought Classic was Errnads and was always so disspointed after I would say "Do you want to go run Errands?" She would always say yes but would be so sad when we never made it to Classic! I felt so bad about it when I finally put it all together!
-"Sparkly likghts" We went to the Payson Temple Open house and she LOVED the celestial room "Sparkly lights!"
- Jaxon was crying and upset in his room while Scott was reading to Hadley in her room. She came into Jaxon's room and said "Can I give Jaxon a love? Jaxon I'm going to make you feel better!"

- On the last Sunday in Primary 2014 the nursery kids had come into primary to show them a little what it would be like for Sunbeams. For singing time they were doing something where if a kid was chosen they had to choose a friend to come help them lead. Jaxon was chosen and he chose Hadley as his friend. It was so cute seeing the two of them in the front together-the only Sunday they'd ever be together in Primary because was moving to Sr. primary. I was glad I was in there to see it.
- "Hairy cut" (Hair cut)
- New Annie Movie: She LOVED this movie and watched it a million times and new the words to all the songs.
- "Oh my Gosh!"
- "Shampoo splashed me" When we went to Sea World we saw the Shamu show. Hadley was NOT happy when Shamu splashed at the end. She will still tell me sometimes, 9 months later, about the time Shampoo splashed her. LOL
- "Ridiculous" Coming from a 3 year old, this is funny.
- "I can not believe that happened!" She heard my friend and I talking about someone's mom who died and Hadley piped in with that gem! It was hilarious!
- "It's weird" with a weird look on her face. If she doesn't like something or someone she just says it, or they is weird.
- "Favorite Cart" The girl likes the big old carts at Target and Walmart. The ones that you can barely push and have to take WIDE turns! She wants her favorite cart and wipes to clean them with. She is an uphappy camper when they don't have any!

- special treats: Scott discovered at Christmas that Hadley liked orange sticks as much as he does. So they have started to have snuggles on the couch and share his "special treats" that are in the drawer. Hadley thinks it's awesome.

- green forks- refuses to use the green forks we have,has to have silver
-dont eat pete: the anxiety of the game almost kills her. She likes to play but refuses to have a turn picking!
Jaxon-
Just a few things I don't want to forget....
Prayer in his room when stomach hurt. This was the first time I've heard him say he Prayed for something on his own. It made me happy.
Prayer for the water to stop in his river outside. He said it worked because Heavenly Father knew it was important to him! 💕
